Resonance has hit a little snag during development. Certain parts of the core mechanic were not “fun” on the user end. The implementation that we had was a little too much of a “light switch” in that it does not present a challenge to the player. We have decided to simplify it (or return) to what it was initially. No more different properties and in with the “recipes”. These recipes represent what the player can do to the object one they match it’s Resonance. This makes it easier for the player to know exactly what they are doing to the object instead of guessing “willy-nilly”. Hopefully this improvement will make the core mechanic fun. Once that is in place, on to the movement of the characters. I got to work on art too like sprite sheet so the objects animate appropriately.
